This oatmeal tastes like dessert but is also balanced with protein and healthy fats from the peanut butter and complex carbohydrates from the oats. It’s a great way to start your day off strong.   • Pinch of salt

    smooth natural peanut butter
  • 1
    banana(s), sliced

    roasted peanuts, roughly chopped

    chocolate chips

Nut-free option:

Substitute a seed butter or nut butter for the peanut butter. Omit the crushed peanuts.

Plant-based option:

Use a plant-based milk and plant-based chocolate chips.

Gluten-free option:

Ensure your oats are GF.

INSTRUCTIONS

Bring the water and milk to a boil in a small saucepan. Add the oats, maple syrup, vanilla and salt and cook over medium heat for approximately 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Top with the peanut butter, banana, crushed peanuts, and chocolate chips. Serve with extra milk if desired.
