Almond Joy Oatmeal
The flavours of a classic candy bar, in a healthy warm oatmeal. If your almond butter is on the thicker side, you can either just add a scoop to your oatmeal or add a little melted coconut oil to make it easier to drizzle!

1Cupmilk of choice
1Cuplarge flake oats
Pinch of salt
2Tablespoonsliced almonds (optional)
.25Cupsmooth natural almond butter
Nut Free Option
Replace the almond butter with a seed butter or omit.
Use plant-based milk.
Gluten Free Option
Ensure your oats are GF.
Bring the water and milk to a boil. Add the oats, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla and salt and cook over medium heat for approximately 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Top with the shredded coconut, sliced almonds, and drizzle on the almond butter.
