These Wellness Shots are a great way to use up any leftover citrus or ginger you might have! You can substitute dried turmeric for fresh if needed, reduce the amount to 1/2 teaspoon or to taste. The key nutrient in turmeric is Curcumin and is activated by the black pepper! Turmeric is great for helping reduce inflammation, the ginger aids with digestion and gut health, and the citrus adds some Vitamin C. These are the perfect little shots when you feel like your body needs a little boost!
